Here’s what’s expected once you’re approved:
All natural gas work must meet Alberta Safety Codes, CSA standards, and Yellowhead Gas Co-op’s specifications. Work that falls short, whether rushed, incomplete, or non-compliant can pose safety risks and may lead to removal from our approved contractor list.
You are a direct representative of Yellowhead Gas Co-op while working on connected systems. We expect respectful communication, clean worksites, and a courteous approach with our members and staff.
If anything goes wrong on-site, whether it’s a near miss, infrastructure damage, or safety concern, we expect immediate notification so we can respond appropriately.
Contractors must keep licenses, insurance, and WCB coverage up to date. Failure to maintain valid documentation can lead to temporary suspension or removal from our list.
Important: Yellowhead Gas Co-op reserves the right to review or revoke contractor status at any time if these expectations are not met.
