Key Service Terms

Here’s a summary of the most important terms you should be aware of as a member:

Service Area and Availability

Yellowhead Gas Co-op only provides service within its approved franchise area, covering Jasper Gates, Carrot Creek, Hinton, Edson and Woodlands County. All connections are subject to feasibility based on location, system capacity, and regulatory requirements.

Access to Equipment and Infrastructure

Members must allow Yellowhead Gas Co-op access to meters, lines, and infrastructure on their property for inspection, maintenance, or emergency service. Please ensure these areas are not obstructed by fencing, landscaping, or buildings.

Billing and Payment

Members are responsible for timely payment of monthly bills. Late payments may result in service interruption, administrative fees, or collection procedures. For payment options, visit our Billings and Payments page.

Safety and Unauthorized Work

No person may tamper with, move, or connect to Yellowhead’s gas infrastructure. Unauthorized work poses serious safety risks and is strictly prohibited.

Changes to Service

If you plan to renovate or add structures to your property, please contact Yellowhead Gas in advance. Additional approvals and inspections may be required to keep your property compliant and safe.

Updates to Terms

Yellowhead Gas Co-op reserves the right to update these terms in response to regulatory, operational, or safety changes.
