Owners of Rental Properties/Mobile Home Parks

  1. Landlords are ultimately responsible for any outstanding balances on accounts held on their property,
  2. A current customer contract with the Co-op must be in place,
  3. When a new renter becomes a customer of the Yellowhead Gas Co-op, they are required to sign a Natural Gas Service Rental Agreement/Member/Renter Information consent as well as to provide the co-op with a deposit of $300 (residential) or minimum $500 (Commercial).  This deposit is held until the renter moves out or purchases the property.  The owner will be notified of overdue accounts.  The Member/Renter Information Consent gives the Owner access to renters’ account(s) information.
